Meet The Board

President
Rachel

In addition to her work with Gathering Hope MN, Rachel works in the social services field and is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services. She plans to be a therapist with a focus in domestic violence.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her children and her other family and friends. In her free time she enjoys active pursuits such as yoga, hiking, and kayaking, as well as creative pursuits like crocheting and knitting.

Secretary
Maddie
Maddie joined Gathering Hope MN in the role of secretary shortly after the merger. Her experience with other non-profit organizations, attention to detail, and communication skills made her an easy choice for the role.

Maddie homeschools her seven children and is a church organist. In her free time, she is a literacy advocate with PaperPie Learning, bringing engaging books to schools, libraries, and homes. Her whole family enjoys spending time outside, gardening, going for bike rides, reading books, and playing board games together.

Treasurer
Linda
Linda is the original founder of Hope for Children. Her passion for children surviving sexual abuse propelling her into creating a wonderful, Twin Cities based non-profit.
Linda let Rachel and Sara take the reigns with the merger into Gathering Hope MN in 2021. While she served in a more advisory capacity at first, she has graciously taken on the role of treasurer for our organization.
Linda also serves as a church organist. She served as music instructor at a local Twin Cities school for many years before retiring, just before the merger into Gathering Hope MN. She enjoys history and travel, as well as time with friends.
